Candid Cities
A city's story told through disposable cameras.
Over the past decade, I placed disposable cameras in different neighbourhoods across various cities, inviting people to capture moments from their daily lives. After a few hours, I collected the cameras and developed the film in my homemade darkroom. The resulting photographs, raw and unfiltered, were shared on social media and compiled into hardcover books, each representing the unique essence of a city. This project offers an intimate glimpse into everyday life, showcasing the candid perspectives of its residents. Through this initiative, I aimed to capture the spontaneous beauty and authenticity of everyday moments, celebrating the diverse narratives that make each city unique.
