an ugly Belgian food project

Belgian food is ugly. Its roots can be traced back to the Middle Ages, with recipes that have been passed down through generations. Most of these dishes have remained unchanged and are still enjoyed by Belgians to this day. I cooked and photographed traditional dishes and created a book to celebrate its beautiful ugliness.
